BRED 12s May 28th, 2016
Price tag $135
This colorway of the Air Jordan 12 debuted in 1997, but returned as a retro for the first round at the end of 2003. The Air Jordan 12 "Bred"
has been 1 of the most iconic and most important shoes in the Jordan Brand number line. I have had the pleasure of owning the shoe twice in my lifetime and i must say each pair has been perfect! Sidebar history of the actual game...some may call these "Flu Games" due to the outstanding performance of Michael Jordan in 1997. That was a tough game against the Utah Jazz....especially with MJ finishing the game with 38 points! But in further notice the actual rumor of MJ having the flu was false and that it is was actually food poisoning. So I wonder who all would cop the shoe if the nickname wasn't "bred" or "flu game" but if it was "Food Poison 12s" instead?.....but the shoe is history in itself!
In 2016, the “Bred” 12’s will go back to it’s OG Black and Varsity Red leather upper...leather quality is superb and the vivid OG Varsity red siding and bottoms pop to the T. All i know is im copping on May 28th...retail price for this years release is of course the $190. The Air Jordan 12 “Flu Game” was originally released back in 1997, then later retro’d in 2003, followed by another re-release in 2009. However, the 2009 pair didn’t meet ‘OG’ standards as they were built with a nubuck upper that included detailing on the heel as a nod to the year and points Michael Jordan scored that day. Message to all resellers "lets try and save the tax on these okay".
